Only city admins can connect, manage, or remove the SharePoint integration. All members of your municipality benefit from the search access once it is set up.
Connect SharePoint
1
Go to Settings > Integrations
Sign in to Prophecy Gov and navigate to Settings, then select Integrations from the sidebar.
2
Connect SharePoint
On the SharePoint card, click Connect. Prophecy will open a secure connection window.
3
Sign in to your SharePoint account
Follow the prompts to sign in with your organization’s Microsoft account. Grant the requested permissions to allow Prophecy to read your SharePoint document libraries.
4
Wait for the initial sync
After you connect, Prophecy begins indexing your SharePoint files automatically. This process runs in the background — you can navigate away and continue working. Depending on the size of your libraries, the initial sync may take a few minutes.
Check connection status
To verify whether SharePoint is connected, go to Settings > Integrations. The SharePoint card shows a Connected badge when the integration is active, or Not connected if it has not been set up.Use SharePoint documents in chat
After connecting, you do not need to do anything differently in chat. When you ask a question, the AI searches your SharePoint libraries alongside your Data Vault, public documents, and other sources automatically. Citations from SharePoint files appear in responses the same way as any other document — you can click a citation to view the file inline.Disconnect SharePoint
